All MVZ Kinderwunsch centres are member of FertiPROTEKT Netzwerk e.V., an association of fertility centres in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The network focuses on fertility preservation (fertility protection) and is committed to protecting fertility before planned operations, chemotherapy or radiotherapy.

Under most circumstances, health insurance companies cover the costs of fertility protection measures in Germany.

The directive on the cryopreservation of egg and sperm cells as well as male testicular tissue recently came into force. The Joint Federal Committee (G-BA) has defined the framework conditions for cost coverage by the statutory health insurance funds.
