What are gynaecological operations?
Most procedures are carried out in a day clinic (outpatient) outside the MVZ fertility centre using gentle, minimally invasive endoscopic techniques.
This applies to the removal of uterine myoma nodules, ovarian cysts, fallopian tube obstructions, endometriosis or uterine malformations. The operation is performed using laparoscopy.
Some of our clinics have specialised in endoscopy of the uterine cavity (hysteroscopy). Hysteroscopy requires a general anaesthetic and is usually covered by health insurance.
The fallopian tube patency test (HyCoSy) can also be carried out directly at our practice. Please note that HyCoSy is not covered by health insurance.
